It’s been a week since the oh-so-fabulous Blogtacular event in London and I’m yet to have time to write up my notes or digest the mountain of information that was very generously thrown at me from both speakers and attendees alike. But when my head has stopped spinning I’ll tell you all about it, I promise..

In the meantime, let me share with you some of my favourite images from the Friday before the conference. There were two photowalks arranged by the Blogtacular team – East (Shoreditch) & West (Notting Hill). I was very lucky to be allocated a spot on the Shoreditch walk which was led by Jess Angell & Laura La Monaca. I’ve admired Laura’s photography for a while so it was lovely to not only meet her but to be photographed by her, too. Check out her Instagram and see if you can spot me casually getting into a rather fabulous car, or at least pretending to!

I had such a good time on the photowalk. I’ve never met another blogger in real life before so it was a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by people who not only knew what blogging was but completely understood it and shared my passion for it. I found my people!

And what a colourful bunch they were. It wasn’t hard to spot them waiting at our starting point of Shoreditch Overground station, that’s for sure!

I love that half the girls on our walk were wearing yellow (a yellow coat is now firmly on my wish list) and it seems the girls on the West walk got the memo, too…

All in all, a fabulous couple of hours and a great way to meet some fellow attendees before the craziness of the main event. I highly recommend putting your name down for a spot on next year’s photowalks. Hopefully I’ll see you there!
