For the last month I have been living in these cosy jumpers from JD Williams. Now, I know JD Williams isn’t the first place you think of when shopping for fashionable clothing but I promise you really do need to check them out! They have shaken off their old lady image and now stock some really gorgeous pieces. And lets face it, if it’s good enough for Lorraine Kelly it’s good enough for me!
The blue jumper with crochet detailed shoulders was perfect for a relaxed Christmas Day outfit. I love the detail of the pointelle sleeves, too. In fact, one of my friends has already bought this after seeing it on my Instagram feed and was very pleased to find it was reduced in the sale. Hurrah for January bargains!
It’s not often I wear black but I made an exception for this sequin number and it was the perfect choice for a festive play date with my mum friends. The school holidays can be a long old slog without these kind of meet-ups and I was certainly grateful for a bit of adult conversation while the kids ran riot!
I love the feeling of being a bit dressed up but still being warm and cosy. Sequin jumpers are a revelation! There is really low stock of this at the moment so make sure you check out the other colours, too. I love the coral but they don’t have my size, unfortunately.
I can’t tell you how many compliments I got when I wore this embroidered beauty in Edinburgh last week! So many people have asked where I got it from. JD Williams, people! Plus it’s currently reduced by a whopping £20 in the sale so you better get moving if you want your very own compliment magnet.
I’m so pleased the embroidery trend is sticking around. I’ve got some black suede boots in the back of the wardrobe that I’ve been planning to tart up with appliqué patches for the last year (#moreideasthantime). They’ll go perfectly with this jumper so I need to pull my finger out and get DIYing.
Don’t you just love it when a shop or website surprises you like that? Gorgeous items, lovely quality and at a great price. Thank you, JD Williams!
